Lab Explosion Injures 3 Grad Students at Rochester

An explosion in a chemistry laboratory at the University of Rochester on Saturday injured three graduate students, although none of the injuries were life-threatening, The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle reported. The explosion involved three toxic chemicals: hydrochloric acid, nitric acid and sulfuric acid.
