New Organization for Community Colleges

March 3, 2016

Ten two-year institutions are joining together to create a new organization. The Ivory League Conference of Community Colleges is a cooperative alliance that allows the colleges to team up and tackle issues that help develop communities. Those issues include clean energy, global education and civic engagement.

The 10 institutions, which are located in the Midwest, included in the Ivory League include Columbus State, Garden City, Independence, Northwest Iowa and Southeast Community Colleges; Rend Lake, Saint Paul, Schoolcraft and Williston State Colleges; and Lake Area Technical Institute.
