Willamette Goes Test Optional in Admissions

Willamette University announced this week that it is ending a requirement that applicants submit SAT or ACT scores. The move follows a faculty panel's study of admissions data for the university. The study found that a careful review of high school transcripts was a better predictor than the SAT of first-year college performance.
