Colleges that use Jenzabar's software will soon be able to ensure that all students have access to their textbooks on the first day of class. The software provider on Wednesday announced a partnership with Rafter, which provides textbook services to colleges. Rafter360, the company's flagship product, lets faculty members pick which course materials they want to use. The costs are then passed on to students in the form of a flat fee, which Rafter says makes it more predictable for colleges to roll the costs into tuition or student fees. Rafter will integrate with Jenzabar's software in the form of a plug-in.
