Grambling President Quits After Less Than Year in Office

Willie Larkin resigned Thursday as president of Grambling State University after less than a year in office, The News Star reported. Larkin resigned after an executive session of the University of Louisiana Board of Supervisors, where he had been evaluated. While he did not indicate why he was leaving, Larkin's tenure has been controversial. The Faculty Senate in February voted no confidence in his leadership.
