Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam is eliminating a bachelor’s degree program in Dutch due to low enrollments, the NL Times, an English-language newspaper covering the Netherlands, reported. Only five new students are enrolled in the program, and a university spokesperson said enrollments have declined by 60 percent over the past decade. Politicians are calling for the degree to be saved.
