Racist Video by Fraternity Members at U of Georgia

March 25, 2019

Four students at the University of Georgia have been kicked out of their fraternity after video circulated, angering many on the campus, showing one student pretending to whip another while saying "pick my cotton" and using various slurs (the worst one at the end of the video):

The university released a statement that said, "The University of Georgia condemns racism in the strongest terms. Racism has no place on our campus. We will continue our efforts to promote a welcoming and supportive learning environment for our students, faculty and staff."
