Amherst Names Emory Dean Next President

Amherst College on Wednesday named Michael A. Elliott, a professor of English and dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Emory University, its next president. Elliott will succeed Biddy Martin, who has served as Amherst’s president since 2011.
