One person was killed Thursday night and two others were injured in a shooting at Tennessee State University, the Associated Press reported. The shootings come a week after three students (not all from Tennessee State) were shot at a house across the street from the university.

In Thursday night's shooting, officials said, the person who was killed was not a student. Authorities said the shootings followed a fight over a dice game and possible gambling.
