Arne Duncan Joins Pluralsight Board

June 10, 2016

Former U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan has joined the board of the professional education provider Pluralsight, Fast Company reported. Speaking to the website, Duncan said his interest in lifelong learning and reaching underserved groups led him to join the board. Duncan is the latest U.S. Department of Education official to leave government for the ed-tech sector. James H. Shelton III, U.S. deputy secretary of education, last year joined the online program management provider 2U before moving to the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative.
