The typical Hollywood depiction of a volcano might be visually stunning, but it’s not very accurate. In today's Academic Minute, the University of California at Davis's Kari Cooper provides a more realistic portrayal of what happens deep in the belly of a volcano. Cooper is an assistant professor at UC-Davis’s department of earth and planetary sciences. A transcript of this podcast can be found here.
