Ideally, sleep is a restful time that recharges our bodies and readies us for the coming day. In today's Academic Minute, though, the University of Minnesota's Michael Howell describes a sleep disorder characterized by intense physical motions. Howell is a neurologist and program director of the Clinical Sleep Medicine Fellowship at Hennepin County Medical Center and the University of Minnesota.
