Privacy Law Scholars Conference

Operating under Chatham House Rules.

June 6, 2013

This week I am in Berkeley, California participating in the sixth annual Privacy Law Scholars Conference.  The Berkeley Center for Law and Technology and George Washington University Law School organize it, Christopher Hoofnagle and Dan Solove in particular.

I estimate that there are about 150 people participating. From all walks of life: legal scholars, practicing attorneys, government, industry, and higher education.  We are under "Chatham House Rules," which Dan described as allowing me, as a blogger, to say, "I am here, but na-na, na, you are not!

Now that's privacy in action!
