Do the rest of us need to get this good at using the Web to communicate our message? Here I'm talking about both educators and companies - anyone using the Web to persuade people to give us some of their scarce attention.
Can we learn from Google and get away from so much text and so much boring screencasts of our services?
What sort of design, writing and technical skills are necessary to produce a cartoon such as this? And do we possess any of these skills?
The real task is not to copy Google - to move our communications materials all into funny cartoons. The task is to understand the fundamentals of what makes this cartoon so effective, and to then try to apply these fundamentals to our own communication and training pieces.
Can you point to some equally effective examples in our learning technology space?
