The National University Technology Network (NUTN) has served since 1983 as a consortium of higher education institutions that provides networking and professional development around technology-enhanced teaching and learning. As of Aug. 31, the WICHE Cooperative for Educational Technologies (WCET) will take over the network, which currently serves 97 members.
WCET will host NUTN alumni gatherings at its 2018 and 2019 annual meetings, maintain an email list of NUTN members until November 2019, and showcase past NUTN award winners on the WCET website.
The network has provided support to its members over the years through events and awards. NUTN will continue offering benefits including a biweekly newsletter and several exclusive webinars to its member institutions until Aug. 31. Institutions that were members of NUTN but not WCET will receive a discounted membership rate for the 2018-19 membership year. Twelve institutions are currently members of both organizations.
Institutions that choose to renew their membership will pay half price for one year of services from WCET. After that, WCET's standard annual rates will apply.
