California students are already feeling the impact of tight budgets for higher education, according to a report released last week by the Campaign for College Opportunity, a nonprofit group that seeks to build support for public higher education. Concordia University of Texas announced Friday that it is selling its Austin campus, with plans to relocate nearby during the next two years. Enrollment at the Austin campus has doubled, to 1,200, in the last five years, and Concordia's board said that it is running out of space in the city.
