Commencement Speakers Announced: Assumption, Augustana, Bentley, Dominican, Gallaudet, Gettysburg, Hamilton, Howard, New School, Otterbein, Pomona, Southern Virginia, UNC Pembroke

The following colleges and universities have announced their commencement speakers for spring 2013:

• Assumption College: Richard DesLauriers, the special agent in charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Boston field division.
• Augustana College: Thomas L. Kilbride, chief justice of the Illinois Supreme Court.
• Bentley University: Bert and John Jacobs, co-founders of the Life Is Good Company.
• Dominican College, in New York: Raymond Kelly, New York City police commissioner.
• Gallaudet University: Ray LaHood, the U.S. secretary of transportation.
• Gettysburg College: David Gergen, the political analyst and former White House advisor.
• Hamilton College: Thomas Tull, CEO of Legendary Pictures.
• Howard University: President Bill Clinton.
• New School: Nate Silver, author of the FiveThirtyEight blog at The New York Times.
• Otterbein University: Meg Crofton, president of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts.
• Pomona College: Walter Isaacson, president of the Aspen Institute.
• Southern Virginia University: Mitt Romney, the 2012 Republican presidential nominee.
• University of North Carolina at Pembroke: Arlinda Locklear, a lawyer who has worked on behalf of Native American civil rights.
