The following colleges and universities have announced their commencement speakers for spring 2013:

• Catholic University of America: Dana Gioia, former chair of the National Endowment for the Arts.
• Emory University: Rita Dove, the poet.
• Lynn University: Sam Vaghar, co-founder of the Millennium Campus Network.
• Macalester College: Jeffrey Toobin, analyst for CNN.
• Mansfield University: Freddie Coleman, ESPN Radio host.
• Marquette University: Bill Cosby, the actor.
• National Hispanic University: Henry Cisneros, former secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
• North Carolina Central University: Fredricka Whitfield, a news anchor and correspondent for CNN.
• Regent University: Ryan T. Anderson, a writer and researcher at the Heritage Foundation.
• University of Cincinnati: Sandra Heimann, vice president of American Financial Group, vice president of American Money Management and vice president of Great American Insurance Company.
• University of Indianapolis: Tavis Smiley, PBS and public radio talk show host.
