Commencement Speakers Announced: Adelphi, Bay Path, Boston U, College of Saint Rose, Fordham, Heritage, Howard, Northwestern (Iowa), Pfeiffer, Regent U, Saint Louis U, Yeshiva

The following colleges and universities have announced their commencement speakers for spring 2015:

  • Adelphi University: Vartan Gregorian, president of the Carnegie Corporation of New York.
  • Bay Path College: Jennifer Henley, director of security operations at Facebook.
  • Boston University: Meredith Vieira, the talk show host.
  • College of Saint Rose: Tim Fenton, who recently retired as chief operating officer of McDonald’s Corp.
  • Fordham University: Nana Lordina Dramani Mahama, first lady of Ghana.
  • Heritage University: Thomas L. Purce, president of Evergreen State College.
  • Howard University: Ursula M. Burns, chairman and chief executive officer of Xerox Corporation.
  • Northwestern College, in Iowa: The Reverend John Paul Sundararajan, India-Asia director for Audio Scripture Ministries.
  • Pfeiffer University: Arch Stokes, a trial lawyer.
  • Regent University: Jay Alan Sekulow, chief counsel of the American Center for Law and Justice and the European Center for Law and Justice.
  • Saint Louis University: Garry Kasparov, the chess player.
  • Yeshiva University: Ruth Wisse, a former professor of Yiddish and comparative literature at Harvard University who is currently the distinguished senior fellow at the Tikvah Fund.
