  • Nabil S. Abu-Ghazaleh, president of West Los Angeles College, in California, has been named president of Grossmont College, also in California.
  • Matt Dane Baker, executive dean of the College of Science, Health and the Liberal Arts at Philadelphia University, has been promoted to provost there.
  • Terry Gaalswyk, executive vice president at Western Nebraska Community College, has been chosen as president of Minnesota West Community and Technical College.
  • Franklin D. Gilliam Jr., dean of the Luskin School of Public Affairs at the University of California at Los Angeles, has been named chancellor of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
  • Lily Kong, vice provost (academic personnel) at the National University of Singapore, has been selected as provost at Singapore Management University.
  • Beverly A. Kopper, provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs at the University of Wisconsin-
Whitewater, has been promoted to chancellor there.
