  • Derek Brandes, vice president of instruction at Green River Community College, in Washington, has been chosen as president of Walla Walla Community College, also in Washington.
  • Mark Ivester, vice president for economic development at North Georgia Technical College, has been promoted to president there.
  • Beth Lewis, president of College of the Mainland, in Texas, has been selected as provost and vice president for academic affairs at Del Mar College, also in Texas.
  • Bruce A. McPheron, interim provost and vice president for agricultural administration and dean of the College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at Ohio State University, has been named executive vice president and provost there.
  • Jeffrey Moniz, director and graduate chair of the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa’s doctor of education program in professional educational practice, has been appointed vice chancellor of academic affairs at the University of Hawaii West Oahu.
  • Jeremy Moreland, academic dean for the School of Advanced Studies at University of Phoenix, has been chosen as provost at the University of the Rockies.
  • Randy Pembrook, vice president for academic affairs at Washburn University, in Kansas, has been named chancellor at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.
  • Linda D. Rose, president of Los Angeles Southwest College, in California, has been selected as president of Santa Ana College, also in California.
  • Claire E. Sterk, provost and executive vice president for academic affairs at Emory University, has been promoted to president there.
