  • Graham Carr, vice president of research and graduate studies and interim provost and vice president of academic affairs at Concordia University, in Montreal, has been named provost on a permanent basis.
  • Richard M. Englert, interim president of Temple University, in Pennsylvania, has been selected for the job on a permanent basis.
  • Desmond Fitzgerald, vice president for health affairs at University College Dublin, in Ireland, has been appointed president of the University of Limerick, also in Ireland.
  • Stacy Hammons, dean of the College of Arts, Sciences and Professional Studies at Indiana Wesleyan University, has been promoted to provost and chief academic officer there.
  • Robbin Hoopes, interim provost at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, in Ohio, has been named to the job on a permanent basis.
  • Sam Olens, attorney general of Georgia, has been chosen as president of Kennesaw State University, also in Georgia.
  • Jan Thomas, vice chancellor and president of the University of Southern Queensland, in Australia, has been selected as vice chancellor of Massey University, also in Australia.
  • Joel Thierstein, executive vice president and provost at Mount St. Joseph University, has been appointed president of West Virginia Wesleyan College.
