  • Martin Abraham, professor of civil/environmental and chemical engineering and former provost at Youngstown State University, in Ohio, has been named provost and academic vice president at Western Illinois University.
  • Paul H. Alexander, vice president for academic affairs at Hope International University, in California, has been named president there.
  • Jill Arensdorf, chair of the department of leadership studies at Fort Hays State University, in Kansas, has been promoted to provost and vice president for academic affairs there.
  • Seamus Carey, president of Transylvania University, in Kentucky, has been appointed president of Iona College, in New York.
  • José Luis Cruz, president of Herbert H. Lehman College of the City University of New York, has been named executive vice chancellor and university provost for the CUNY system.
  • Carlee Drummer, president of Quinebaug Valley Community College, in Connecticut, has been selected as president of Columbia-Greene Community College, part of the State University of New York system.
  • Chance Glenn Sr., dean of the College of Engineering, Technology and Physical Sciences at Alabama A&M University, has been appointed provost and vice president for academic affairs at the University of Houston-Victoria, in Texas.
  • Brad E. Hollingshead, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Florida Southern College, has been promoted to provost and vice president for academic affairs there.
  • James M. Shaeffer, dean of the College of Continuing Education and Professional Development at Old Dominion University, in Virginia, has been named president of Eastern Shore Community College, also in Virginia.
  • Linda Strong-Leek, vice president for diversity and inclusion and associate vice president for academic affairs at Berea College, in Kentucky, has been promoted to provost there.
  • Monica Torres, interim president and former vice president of academic affairs at Doña Ana Community College, has been chosen as president there.
