Seven people were arrested in connection with a social network where Rutgers University students bought and sold illegal drugs, NBC has reported.

The site was described as a “an extensive narcotics operation” in a press release by Middlesex County’s Office of the County Prosecutor. Run by a former Rutgers student, the site allegedly allowed narcotics sellers to post their wares while buyers, who had to verify they were affiliated with Rutgers, could browse menus and contact sellers.

The arrests come after a months-long, multiagency investigation, the press release said. Police also seized marijuana, LSD, cocaine, psilocybin mushrooms, Adderall, Xanax, cash and a firearm.
