Arizona State University's W. P. Carey School of Business has announced that everyone admitted to the next class of the full-time M.B.A. program will receive a full scholarship for tuition and fees for their program. That will be a significant savings, given that current tuition and fees for the program are $54,000 for Arizona residents, $87,000 for nonresidents and $90,000 for international students.

Officials said they view the scholarship plan as a way to boost the business school's competitiveness and to make an M.B.A. possible for those who do nonprofit work and might not otherwise be able to afford the program. Asked if the program would be repeated, a spokeswoman said via email that "although the amount of funding available may change from year to year, we will continue to invest in our students, our university and the future of business education."
