Michigan State to Hire 100 New Faculty Members

Michigan State University plans to recruit 100 new faculty members as part of what it’s calling the Global Impact Initiative. The university plans to hire in priority research areas identified by faculty in the fields of computational science, engineering, genomics, plant science, physical science and precision medicine. The university said it has dedicated $17.5 million in recurring funds for the initiative.
