Florida Memorial University announced Thursday that it will award a posthumous bachelor of science degree to Trayvon Martin at this year's commencement. Martin was killed in 2012, at 17, by a neighbor, in what to many symbolized the vulnerability of young black men to being shot dead for no reason. The degree will be accepted by Martin's parents.
