Carroll College, a private institution in Montana, announced that it was eliminating five majors and 10 minors, The Independent Record reported. Officials said that they needed to deal with declining enrollment in part by making those cuts and adding new graduate programs. The majors being cut are: classical studies, ethics and value studies, engineering science, environmental outreach and interpretation, and environmental policy and project management. The minors being cut are: anthropology, arts management and administration, classical studies, economics, European studies, Latin American studies, music, public relations, social media, and TV production.
