132 Layoffs at Western Illinois University

Western Illinois University announced 132 layoffs on Friday, including 29 faculty members, The Moline Dispatch reported. Officials cited financial challenges from, among other things, the impact of enrollment decreases. Enrollment is down by about 14 percent compared to a year ago.
