Notre Dame Responds to Church Sexual Abuse Crisis

The University of Notre Dame on Monday announced actions it is taking in response to the clergy sexual abuse crisis in the Roman Catholic Church.
Planned actions announced by Notre Dame, a Catholic university, include organizing campuswide events focused on the sexual abuse crisis and broader questions it raises for the church, and committing up to $1 million in funds from the president’s office to fund faculty research projects on issues relating to the crisis.
