According to an article in The Guardian last week, new photographic evidence of climate disruption was recently released by the Obama administration.
While it doesn't contain anything truly startling -- the featured symptom is shrinking of arctic ice sheets, which is already well-established -- it does provide some striking photographs.
More to the point, it's evidence collected, analyzed and verified by the US military during the Bush administration. Since any remaining controversy around whether climate change is real is largely political in nature (there are more US Senators who disbelieve than there are climate scientists), it's tactically useful to be able to ask the misinformed, "so, you don't believe Bush's military intelligence operation?"
Not substantively useful, but one perhaps more nail in the coffin of deliberate disinformation.
