As reported in Inside Higher Ed, the new Forever GI Bill, a law that significantly expands veterans' higher education benefits, includes a nod to the federal government’s growing interest in non-college education providers. The bi-partisan law features a five-year "high-technology" pilot program that will pay unaccredited providers to train veterans for careers in tech sectors. The providers will have access to $15 million in federal funds per fiscal year, or a total of $75 million.
