  • Phyllis Worthy Dawkins, vice president for academic affairs at Cheyney University, in Pennsylvania, has been appointed as provost and vice president for academic affairs at Bennett College, in North Carolina.
  • Allison Garrett, executive vice president at Abilene Christian University, in Texas, has been chosen as president of Emporia State University, in Kansas.
  • Jerome A. Gilbert, provost and executive vice president at Mississippi State University, has been selected as president of Marshall University, in West Virginia.
  • Karla Hughes, executive vice president and provost of the University of Louisiana System, has been chosen as chancellor of the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
  • Martha Griffith Lavender, interim president of Gadsden State Community College, in Alabama, has been promoted to the position on a permanent basis.
  • Andrew P. Manion, executive vice president at Aurora University, in Illinois, has been selected as president of Marian University, in Wisconsin.
  • Valerie Richardson, interim president of Bishop State Community College, in Alabama, has been named to the position on a permanent basis.
  • Joseph E. Steinmetz, executive vice president and provost at Ohio State University, has been named chancellor of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
