In a recent Student Voice survey, conducted by Inside Higher Ed and College Pulse, half of the 3,004 four- and two-year college student respondents say they’d benefit academically from their professors experimenting with different teaching styles. This finding—paired with existing research on teaching and learning—suggests that students want more active learning experiences, with a focus on inclusion.
