Contra Costa President Resigns

The president of Contra Costa Community College has resigned, a month after she was placed on leave for an unspecified reason, the Bay Area New Group reported. Katrina VanderWoude had been in office only about one year. "We want to thank Dr. VanderWoude for her leadership and contributions to the district," Chancellor Fred Wood said in a statement. "We wish her well in her future endeavors."
