Faculty members and other employees in the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System won't have to present their personal cell phones and other devices for inspection after all, The Star Tribune reported. The system last month proposed a new rule that would let officials inspect employees' devices if they were used for work purposes, which faculty unions described as "intrusive and invasive." The system has reportedly agreed to shelve the proposal until it can reach a compromise with faculty members.
