Handshake today said its career-services platform is now in use at more than 350 colleges and universities, a jump from the 160 institutions that the start-up touted earlier this year. Handshake, which has quickly grabbed a share of the career-services market since its launch in 2014, connects college students to employers, who can link up with colleges to view students' profiles. Despite concerns about privacy issues, the platform has proved popular at college career centers. With the new institutions that have begun using the platform in the last few months -- Arizona State University, Brown University and George Washington University among them -- Handshake is available to more than six million students, a spokesperson said.
