Classes are expected to resume today at the University of Quebec at Montreal, ending a faculty strike that started March 16. The Montreal Gazette reported that professors voted to accept a contract that calls for an 11 percent salary increase over four years. Under the contract, more than 145 professors will be hired over the next five years.
