Bobby Fong, who as president first of Butler University and more recently of Ursinus College was one of the nation's longest-serving Asian-American campus leaders, died at home early Monday, apparently of natural causes, Ursinus announced. Fong became president of the Pennsylvania liberal arts college since 2011 after leading Butler, in Indiana, for a decade. He was the son of Chinese immigrants, an internationally known scholar of Oscar Wilde, and a strong advocate for the liberal arts. Ursinus alumni, employees and students are remembering Fong here.
