The College of the Desert, in California, has been hit by a serious malware attack that has taken down its website and caused a "system-wide outage" of most digital services.

The college has created a new website with news and information for students. "Classes are not canceled," the new website says. "In-person classes are meeting at their regular time and location. Online and zoom classes can be accessed through Canvas."

This is the second malware attack in two years at the community college, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation is investigating, reported The Desert Sun. The college is still trying to recover all the data lost in that attack.
