Bribed Into UCLA?

A British Columbia woman paid $100,000 to get her son into the University of California, Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Times reported. The woman has not been indicted, and it is unclear whether she knew the money was a bribe, but it was described that way in an indictment of UCLA’s former soccer coach. The son was admitted and awarded a scholarship, but he never played.
