University of Georgia Employee Stole $1.3 Million

A former employee of the University of Georgia stole $1.3 million from Greek organizations before dying by suicide in June, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. The newspaper obtained an investigation via the open-records laws. Lasina Evans had near total control over the funds and received no oversight, the investigation revealed.
